His projects have been Official Selections in over 100 international film festivals and have won multiple awards, including Best Director (Honolulu Film Awards), Best Feature-Length Screenplay (Mediterranean Film Festival—Cannes), the Rising Star Award (Canada International Film Festival), the Maple Leaf Award (Canada International Film Festival), the Silver Remi Ward for Creative Excellence (WorldFest Houston International Film Festival), Best Music Video Award (Tokyo Shorts Film Festival), and more. He is also an accomplished and award-winning classical composer, who was awarded the Dolphy Prize, and whose compositions have been performed internationally. After being chosen as a Winner in the Amsterdam International Film Festival because of its "outstanding performance", his project Maybe in a Thousand Years was featured in FilmmakerLife Magazine.
